I am not sure if I noted this just before or only after the 2.2 update, but now when I launch the app store application - I can see the featured, et al, but when I selected the Updates category - it just gives me the spinning loading icon with the word "Loading" - and I never get the final screen that there are app updates or that everything is up to date; has anyone else had this problem and found a cure? Thanks

Mac OS X (10.5)
It's not your phone, its the store. I get the same thing when I try on my iMac - a never ending "Accessing iTunes Store". I can access the store OK using iTunes except when I try to check app updates.
i never got that message. Mine just sat updating until it said it couldnt connect to the itunes store. Brosing the app store ( and indeed downloading from it ) and the itunes music store is fine. Its just the app update servers. It probably ( as seen in another discussion ) because everyones grabbing the firmware update.
I'm having the same problem on both my iPhone and my Mac. It must be a server load problem on Apple's end. Patience hasn't worked for me either - I get an error message within 60 seconds telling me I can't connect to the iTunes store to get updates. I guess we'll just have to wait it out.
