Burning CDs

Okay,

Since I downloaded iTunes 8.0 I have been unable to burn any CDs. Have reinstalled, tried different types of CD (Data CD, MP3 CD and Audio CD) but it still just says "Checking Media" for a while then closes.

Can anybody help?

Try lowering your burn speed. The steps in the following article might help as well:

The 2131 error means you need to update the firmware for your optical drive. I recommend checking with your computer manufacturer first. Often these updates can be found on their website.
