Using a Wireless Intellimouse Explorer 2.0 with an iMac

I connected a Wireless Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 2.0 to my iMac. I am having a problem with the pointer skipping. I go to click or point at something and the pointer disappears and reappears somewhere else on the screen.

iMac, Mac OS X (10.5.5)

Do you have the Microsoft 6.3 drivers?

http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/drivers/intellipointandintellitypepro.html

Download the update and try adjusting the mouse preference settings. Then if you are still unable to get the mouse working properly contact Microsoft for support or a replacement mouse.
