I've had 2 sets of V-modas - the original (from mid-2007 before I got the iPhone) and the Duos (from when they first came out). They work fine, and always have and, as you'll see from reviews everywhere, that's the case for practically everyone.

No product is ever 100% perfect in every example, including Shure.

Sorry I didn't notice the $70 cap. BTW I got mine for $276.94. Great deal. Just goggle the model number. Extra $35 or so for the mic adaptor. From the subject of the thread some might be looking for buds and price is not an object. The subject caught my attention.

Yes, I had exactly that problem. After trying three different 3rd party headphones that I had lying around, I called Apple Support. Their only suggestion was to restore the phone. Needless to say, restoring did not help. Then I tried another set of OEM headphones and they were fine. I purchased a new set of Vibe Duos from the Apple Store, planning to take them back if I had issues again. The Vibe Duos have been fine.
