My Shopping Cart Items Disappeared!

My Shopping Cart Items Disappeared!

I haven't been into the iTunes store for awhile, but I had a bunch of songs saved in my shopping cart. When I went to the store the other day to order the songs, there's no more shopping cart. Did they do away with this item? If not, how can I get it back? Thanks for any help.

Mine is still there. However a few months back, there were serious problems around the time itunes v7 was released, and APple had to dump the contents of many folks' shopping cart contents. Esp for people who had been saving hundreds of tracks.

Going forward, it's probably best to use a "Wishlist' playlist on your own PC, so any Apple store problems don't delete it again: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1368

If you do not see the Shopping Cart icon in your itunes source list (between Store and Purchased ), then you have somehow gotten switched to one-click.

Change it back.
itunes menu > Edit > Preferences > Store tab

Edit-I don't see any red button, either...

Thanks, Katrina. It's lucky that I had only about 10 items in the cart, but that wishlist is a good idea. The same thing happened with a wishlist I had on a public library site, so I guess those things don't last that long! Appreciate your suggestion and reply.

I've been away so just got back to my original problem. It's not just the items -- my whole shopping cart option is gone. Under "store," it has purchased items, but no shoppiung cart. Apple said to click on the red button just to the left of "store," but nothing happens. My computer is very slow, and I wonder if that could be it, but there must be some way to get the cart itelf back. Thanks for any ideas.

Same here, but I found a resolution that worked for me. Click on "Store" / "View My Account". Sure enough, my shopping cart was there even though it was empty inside ITunes. I was able to download them (all 68 of them). Hope this helps.
