Free account without credit card/paypal/gift card ever possible?

I always hear people saying that it is possible to create that free account without ANYTHING. (For the album art etc)

However I did not find a solution yet. Anyone? (And no the 'None' option with payment does not appear).

Initially, to create the account, one of those options (credit cards, PayPal, or gift cards) must be provided (as far as I know). However, once the account's been created, I believe you have the option of going back and removing your credit card info by switching the credit card to 'none.'

You can create an iTunes account without a credit card. Not sure if you get album artwork using this but you will NOT be able to download free songs/movies.

Well, as in Belgium I only get 'visa' 'mastercard' or 'american express' and I don't have any of those, I need to get my parents to fill in their information.

I think they rather die than giving their credit card information 'public', although you can remove them afterwards.

I don't understand why Itunes (apple) can't do this without the information. There are few people who are willing to do that (people of my age category -> 18-19)

As said, the 'None' in payment options does NOT appear.

I have this account, should I get a new one before it can work? If I try to get that free app, then login with this current account... Shouldn't it work then?

There is 'none' when creating a new account. However it keeps asking for a credit card number...

Jim-bo, it's broken. Apple will have to fix it.

I strongly suggest NOT creating multiple iTS accounts - you'll have to remember the login credentials forever for 2 accounts.
