Help with transferring apps and app data to new Mac

Hi

I'm part way into moving to a new Mac.

I've transferred music, photos and video to the new iTunes but am worried about my applications. They're saved on my PC (where old iTunes was) but dont really know what to do on the new one.

Each time I check to sync apps I get a warning message saying all data will be erased, I dont want this. I've transferred purchases and iTunes shows (greyed out) all of my Apps

Any ideas?

Mac Mini, Mac OS X (10.5.5)

On the Mac your iTunes folder is inside your Music folder. And inside the iTunes folder you'll find the *Mobile Applications* folder where the programs go. I assume they are located in the same location on your Windows computer. (I haven't synced my iPhone to a Win computer since the new firmware so I'm not sure.) So you should be able to just copy your applications to that folder and be good to go.

Note: you will eventually have to accept that your Touch will be erased by the Mac. To sync it to a new computer results in the contents being overwritten by the new and in this case, since you are switching to a Mac from Windows it will also be reformatted. Just make sure all your applications and music has been moved to the new computer.
