9 screens of apps - can I install more?

Yes, you are limited to 9 home screens, and thus a total 148 apps (9x16 + 4 in the 'dock'), including Apple-provided and 3rd party apps. Only Apple can alter that.

Ok so I have just spent the best part of 3 hours trying to figure out why my downloaded apps dont seem to appear on my iphone, only to find out after 3 resets that in fact there is a 9 page limit! (very disappointing!) I have infact downloaded at least another page worth and have no way to access them even tho they are installed. I of course realise that I could delete some apps to make way for them, but the reason for my downloading them in the first place was because I use them. After queuing for nearly 3 hours apon the launch of this phone I find it unbelievable that this limit exists at all especially with over 6.5GB free space, after all the iphone is suppose to be 'solving all of lifes problems, one app at a time!' My request would be to either add lots more homepages, or at very least design another way to access these apps, maybe a internal browser locked down to only display the apps.

I have read somewhere that this may rise to 11 with the 3.0 firmware, but is this really enough? I urge anyone who thinks not to submit their own feedback, after all its like having a bus but only being able to sit in the front seats!

You're not addressing Apple but just users.

I'm amazed that you use 140+ apps every day. I haven't even found that many interesting apps yet.

the new software update might allow for more home screens but that will be contingent on whether you have enough memory

how many homescreens there are should not effect memory usage at all, unless u run several apps at once, the homesceen is effectively a just an browser for browsing the shorcut icons for the application that are installed on the iphone. I think advertising the appstore for having thousands of apps is missleading considering the limitations of the OS's internal browser.

I assume by memory, you mean storage capacity.
