iPhone Call Failed

All of the sudden today, I can not make outgoing phone calls on my iPhone. Incoming calls work fine, synching is fine, all applications work fine. My wife's iPhone works fine, so the cell towers are working. No matter what person I try to call, the call fails. I have reseated the SIM card and rebooted the phone several times. I am out of ideas.

Help.

Perry,

Try Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset Network Settings.

If that doesn't help, try these guys:
U.S. iPhone technical support: 1-800-MY-IPHONE (1-800-694-7466)

OK, so I called Apple support for iPhone and the menu directed me to AT&T support. These folks were friendly and walked me through the same resets. The SIM card registered on their cell network, so AT&T believe it is my SIM or the phone itself. Since my wife has an iPhone, we will be using her phone to swap SIMs and test the iPhone.

Once I have done that today, I will let you know. My guess is I am making a trip to the Apple Store or a new phone or SIM. <grin>
