iDVD 08 Menu White After Burn

I have a project in iDVD 08 that I have created. I originally used the "Forever" theme but ran into a problem when I inserted the DVD into my home DVD player. I hit play and up on the screen was nothing but white except for the two buttons I added that would start the different movies I had on the disc.

Figured I did something wrong so I went back to my computer and tried playing the disc on it....same thing. White screen with the two buttons showing up. I remade the project in iDVD starting from scratch and this time picked the "Revolutions" theme.....same result.

I tried both projects to a folder and then burned the Video TS folder to a disc but still had no luck. When I open the Video TS folder directly on the computer the same result as well. During the rendering process and burning process in iDVD the preview window shows all of the menus being rendered.

Anyone else run into this issue? I am trying to get this DVD done for a wedding on the 27th of December.....yikes....

Thanks,
Dan

Update...

I did an Archive and Install on my Mac Pro, and applied Software Updates one at a time. After each update, I tested iDVD to see if and when the white menu background issue would reappear.

The issue never reappeared after doing the Archive and Install.

I have both video cards installed.

I have three monitors connected (two to the ATI and one to the NVIDIA).

There must have been something else that caused the white menu background issue in iDVD. I will continue getting everything back to normal and seeing if some other software app causes problems with iDVD.

...Just wanted to add that I am having pretty much the same problems except mine is producing a completely black menu screen. I've tried all of the tips listed with the exception of the video card issue. I'm not sure how I'll remedy the problem in my case though. I've only got the one Radeon 9800 Pro card that I upgraded a year ago or so. I'm wondering if I should uninstall the Radeon software and let OSX run it since the ATI software is pretty much useless anyway. Very frustrating when creating a simple photo slideshow that used to take no time at all. I'll keep watching this thread for other possible solutions. Thanks for all of ya'lls research and tips though. I know it definitely helps he look in another direction.

This is all very interesting, and I have a similar issue with iDVD 7 on 10.4.11 and an iMac G5. The DVD is encoded beautifully, except that the menu graphics are completely missing.

Could it be a space issue? The first time I experienced it (my first DVD), the menu was static and only a few items didn't appear correctly, though remaining selectable. That was pushing the space limit such that I had to lower the quality level. The second time (my second DVD) also pushed the space limit but I could not sacrifice quality -- music and menu choices are there, but no animation or graphics.
