Can't open email icon on iphone

I have not been able to open the email icon on my iphone. Just stopped working. I'll press the mail icon, get a blank screen and then it closes back to home page. I have two email accounts that were wroking fine a copupe of days ago.

Anyone else have this problem?

Have you tried restart, reset, restore?

Page 34 of the manual:

"If something is not working right, restarting or resetting iPhone will likely solve the
problem.
Restart iPhone: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears.
Slide your finger across the slider to turn off iPhone. To turn iPhone back on, press and
hold the Sleep/Wake until the Apple logo appears.
Reset iPhone: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the
same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
For more troubleshooting suggestions, see Appendix A, “Troubleshooting,” on page 131. "

I have the same problem. I've tried reseting everything and no help. Can't even access mail settings. Please help.

If the standard troubleshooting steps available to you do not resolve this which in order are; powering your iPhone off and on, reset, restoring your iPhone with iTunes from your iPhone's backup, and restoring your iPhone with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from your iPhone's backup, if you are in the U.S. you can call AppleCare at (800) 694-7466, or make an appointment at an Apple store if there is one nearby.
