New Cinema Display Colour problems

Hi everyone,

I connected a new Apple Cinema Display to my new Macbook Pro. Sometimes I see something i want to call "colour changes"... Its not as hard as it sounds but for example the colour "white" gets a little red/rosa touch, few seconds later a little blue/green touch and after few seconds it switch back to normal, in this case white.

Does anyone else is having this issue? Does anyone know how to solve it?

Best wishes and happy christmas,
Philipp

I have seen this happened to my MacBook Pro (October 2008 model) with an external LCD monitor and confirmed that I was always able to get it back to normal simply by going into Display preference panel and re-choose the right ColorSync profile. Then, I noticed all installed profiles were listed and "Show profiles for this display only" box was unchecked. I checked the box and the color shifting hasn't happened since then. Although I probably need to wait and see more, my girlfriend's MBP (same model) has never had the same issue, and interestingly, when I checked System Preferences it the box was checked. I think it has something to do with this rather mysterious symptom.

Hi all...

I just noticed this on my brand new mac pro. I have both LEDs connected to my Radeon, one using the Atlona DVI > MDP converter box. Just a few moments ago I watched as my Atlona-connected LED display became very warm in colour temperature, and looks way too yellow compared to the one on the left, which I deep as being the most accurate colour I have ever seen...

What do I do?

I'm on 10.6.2!
