Safari won't open Gmail

For the past week, I cannot open Gmail in Safari; I just receive a message saying "Bad Request error 400". I am, however, able to check my gmail via firefox on the Mac, and on any other computer I choose.
Does anybody else have this problem? Am guessing this is due to the wonderful 10.5.6 update.

You can delete cookies in Safari preferences, and it helps for sure. They say, the problem comes back later, and you have to do it again... I guess until they come up with a patch for Safari.

This worked like a charm. I had the same problem, Gmail would NOT load in Safari. It would do a continuous reload loop. Resetting everything WORKED! Try it everyone!
