Apple Bluetooth Keyboard won't pair

Hi. I need help with pairing my Apple Bluetooth (Aluminum) Keyboard. It was working fine up until a month or two ago, and now simply refuses to have anything to do with my iMac G5 (10.5.5), except for showing up in the list of bluetooth keyboards in the bluetooth setup assistant. Any help would be appreciated.

I was having this same issue for the past day but i just fixed it.

My problem was that my macbook pro would occasionally find my keyboard and sometimes get to the pairing screen where you enter the pairing number but then be unsuccessful.

I tried a few things but this seemed to work.
First turn off bluetooth on your mac
Unplug all usb devices
Shut down computer
Boot computer
Turn bluetooth on
then try pairing again

This worked for me and im 100% positive i was having the same issues as you guys
