I have Numbers '08 and i want the angle of the text below my chart to turn about 45 degrees. I know there is an angle button in the format section in numbers '09, where you can set any angle. Can this angle thing also be found in '08 or is there any other possibility to rotate the text in a chart?
I would be really glad if anyone could help me with this.
Thanks a lot in advance.
It only allows angle changes to the X-Axis labels in 2D charts, I'm wondering about 3D. Seems strange to only allow it in one find, maybe the twist/tilt in 3D is too difficult to make work with angled labels.
OK, forgive me..... I've read the above posts I still can't see the option for rotating the labels in Numbers 09. I have created a 3D bar chart with about 10 labels that need to be displayed. Need to rotate them so they can fit. I try selecting the labels in the X axis. Nothing happens to the labels when I manipulate the 3D Chart thingy. Only the whole chart moves....
You can click on the chart labels to select them to change the font and size but they only move around with the 3D scene tool.
The chart can also be selected then dragged into different sizes via the selection tabs.
The 2D Charts have more options for setting the labels at different angles.
