adding meta-tags

I created my own website and all is running well with hosting from NAMESCO here in the UK.

NAMESCO have generated a code that i must insert into my website to target specific content, am i correct in assuming that i create a web widget (i think thats what its called as i'm not at my imac) and paste the meta-tag code into the box and HEY PRESTO......

Or am i wrong and there is a different way of doing it?

Metatags are added to pages as shown here:

However those tags are not used by most search engines these days. Metatags that are added to images are however. But you can add both types by using iWeb SEO Tool. It will add the tags you want to the header in the page and will add tags to photos. You can download it for free here: http://www.ragesw.com/products/iweb-seo-tool.html
