Kaiser Baas Video to DVD Maker

Has anyone experienced with using Kaiser Baas Video to DVD Maker on a Mac? Is it possible to save the captured file in a format the iMovie will edit? If so, how is this done?

iMac, Mac OS X (10.5.5)

Seeing as iMovie is in the product's System Requirements, I can only assume that it is indeed supported. Exactly how to do so is probably covered in the manual.

If only it were that simple! Unfortunately, the manual says absolutely nothing about this.

Yes - capture analog movies, and it converts it to DVD format. The problem is, it will not allow you to edit it before burning the DVD. It saves it as an "Empia Movie", and iMovie will not open it. Empia is the software Kaiser Bass bundles with the gadget, to use with a Mac.

I meant, can you open the capture dialogue in iMovie (or however you capture in iMovie these days-- I haven't used it in quite a while) and see the device input from there?
