You may luck out, as that stuff probably didn't ooze out to the edges of the plastic sheet under the keyboard that has the electrical contacts.
You should be able to use the G4 Powerbook Keycap Replacement instructions for the MBP keys. Take off as many keys as you want to clean them and the mechanisms under them. The rubbery bump pad under the keys should be pretty safe to clean with damp sponge or brush, but do NOT do anything that lets water/fluid run off the edges of the keyboard assembly, as it will run into the edge of the key contact sheet and also down into the electronics.
