Is it possible to group text box with table?

Sometimes I create tables with narrow columns and vertical text. Knowing that Pages don't support vertical text I type text inside the text box, rotate it and than place it over table cell.

But the problem is that text box doesn't move together with the table!
It happens when I insert some text above the table. Table moves but text box doesn't! I fix that manually. It's okay if there's one table but if there're many of them?

What do I do wrong? Is it possible to group text box and table somehow so they move together?

Thanks.

Yes, make sure both are floating objects, cutting and pasting them back onto the document if necessary.

Also turn off +Object causes wrap+ of both the text box and the table, or they will cause the text in each other to move.

Select both:

+Menu > Arrange > Group (option cmd g)+

They will now be a grouped floating object. To edit either the rotated text box or the table you will first have to ungroup them (option shift cmd g).

If you don't have the manual with the program I suggest you download it by going to:

+Menu > Help > Pages User Guide+
