Update App in iTunes Connect

Hello,

I have updated my app using the "Update Application" button. I set my version to 1.1, write the "What's new" stuff and uploaded my new binary.

The approval was very fast (only 2 days) but when I downloaded the update, it was not the 1.1 app that I uploaded. It is still the old code.

Did I miss a step where? Do I need a new certificate or provisioning profile for the new version?

Please help... This is really frustrating. Having the users downloading a update that doesn't do what it says it should do. 😟

iMac 20", Mac OS X (10.5.6)

Hello Félix,

There is always a lag between the time you -the developper- receive the "Your application is ready for sale" notification email and the time the update is actually available...
I'm sure if you check now, the correct version should be available...

In fact it took some time (almost one day) since I received the email and the v1.1 was available for download.

But I downloaded the v1.1 from the app store and it behaved like I described above.

I am away from the computer, so I can only test it later today (GMT), I will try again later.
Could it be because I did not use the clean before building the app with the "Distribution" configuration?

Well that is strange...

If you set your version as "1.1" in iTunes Connect, and it accepted your new binary, that means that you also correctly set your version to 1.1 in your Info.plist file...

Now, the clean could be the answer.
I always do a "Clean all targets" before I build for distribution...

If that is the case, is there a way to replace the binary or do I have to send another update (1.2)?

You'll have to send another update, something like 1.11

myXpenses Lite v1.1.2 is ready for download with all the features ok.

I still don't know what went wrong. Was it a bad build? Was it I that sent a wrong binary?

The problem is solved, and that is the most important! 🙂
