Cleaning Clickwheel

Is there a good way to clean the clickwheel. Mine looks a bit grey since I got it and I also had a makr on it when I gt it which I cannot get off. Any one have any ideas as to how to take marks off it?

Hello robin123,

I've recently restored my iPod (including clickwheel) and dock to their former scratch-free and glossy condition using a product called Polywatch. For the clickwheel I placed the tiniest amount of the paste onto a cloth and rubbed it in using my fingertip so as not to leave any excess. Then, I worked gently in a circle around the wheel so nothing could get between the edge and the iPod casing.

The results are astounding. I posted some preliminary pictures here;

I hadn't really touched the clickwheel at that point but now the whole thing is totally gleaming - as are my iMac and eMac!
