I have had my Ipod touch for about a year and recently it has started pausing during songs and videos. I have reset and restored it to its factory settings but it still happens - it's very annoying! Do you have any suggestions to fix it? Thanks
Unfortunately, I have the same problem, however I also haven't upgraded to 3.0 yet.
I have a 1st Gen iPod Touch 16GB, which has reached the point where I cannot play music without pausing (unless the jack is pushed lightly into a certain position and held there)
I am reasonably sure that this is an audio jack issue. I've owned the iPod for over a year and it's served me perfectly until now. Has anyone come up with a practical solution or is self-repair/new purchase the only option? (I'm also reasonably sure that my warranty is the standard 1 year, which unfortunately I am now over)
I think I have the solution! I drained the battery and _left my iPod touch untouched for a couple weeks_. When I charged it again the problem was gone. This is over a month ago, and the problem has disappeared. It plays perfectly, and no other problems!
