Virus damaging usb memory sticks

Hi, hope somebody can help me.

I got a virus on my usb memory stick from a pc and it got transfered to my macbook. Now I can`t use any usb devices on my mac as they all get the virus and the memory gets destroyed. The virus is now in my trash can (can´t delete it there) and I need help to get rid of it. It is a folder named "Recycler" with a folder inside named "S-1-6-21-2434476501-1644491937-600003330-1213". Inside are the files "autorunme.exe" and "Desktop.ini". Are there any programs that could possibly help me to delete it?

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.5.1)

Welcome to Apple Discussions:
The "virus" in your Trash with the strange file name is sometimes referred to as a Windows Ghost and if so, you cannot delete it because it really is not there.
If it is not a Windows Ghost, you can delete it using the terminal

First enter
ls -al .Trash
and see if you see the errant file(s)
If so, then enter
cd .Trash
and then
ls -al
and you should see the same files, but now you are "in" the .Trash
if you see the files, then enter
rm -i *
and you will be asked for confirmation for each file before it is deleted. This is a security measure.
you may need to enter
sudo rm -i *
and then enter your password.

If this does not work, then the files are these sticky Windows ghost files and other means must be employed.
Are you running XP or Vista via BootCamp or Parallels etc.?

That should work, but I have never heard or seen an inability to delete. I have used Unix systems for some time and you can always delete files if you have the proper privileges. If the secure delete and the delete from the CLI does not work, try doing the secure delete while the usb stick is in your mac. It has worked for me at least twice.
