Capturing with Pinnacle Dazzle

I got the Dazzle for Mac and was looking to capture some VHS tapes with Final Cut. It hooks up with USB, is there anyway to do this? Thanks

PowerMac G5 Dual 2.0, Mac OS X (10.4.6)

Final Cut Pro can't capture through USB. iMovie may well be able to though.

I don't think imovie will work either. You'll have to use the Pinnacle software to capture and then import the files into FCP. I have an elgato eyetv hybrid, which is pretty much the same product (I think the software might be slightly different) and it records in mpeg2, which would need converting to use in fcp/imovie.

I returned it because it was terrible, the included software was really bad and didn't let me do what I wanted to do.
