Does iMovie '09 Not support raw images?

Question

Does iMovie '09 Not support raw images?

Most of my photos are stored in photoshop's PSD format in iPhoto. iMovie '06 had no problem recognizing and working with these. When I try to look up photos in the "Show Photos" screen in iPhoto '09, only photos in the jpg format are showing up.

Can someone please at least confirm for me that they are having the same problem? I can't be the only iMovie '09 user who uses Photoshop?

I ran a test. Psd files don't show up for me, either.
