OVERCLOCKING early Macbook Pro - XP is Possible, OSX is not ?

Is there any tool for OSX to overclock or at least stop CPU throttling for MacBook Pro early 2008?

I noticed some jitter when minimizing or maximizing applications to the Dock.

Under Windows XP, my MBP performs very well and fast! You can disable throttling in which your CPU will be running at max speed, and I can use RivaTuner to gain noticeable performance difference.

However, I'd like to stick with OSX and Apple's OSX architecture does not allow you to stop throttling the CPU. The CPU is always throttled (lowered) regardless of what type of power scheme you select! Trust me, I opened a bug with them but the said this is an OSX architecture!

No, there is no tool to overclock a Mac. You asked about this in another post, and were given the same answer. The SpeedStep implementation in OS X is not a bug. If the demand on the CPU requires full power then the CPU will throttle up as needed.

If you are having a problem with the video it isn't because of SpeedStep. This would be due to the GPU. If you believe you have a problem with the video then take the computer in for servicing.
