iPhone not recognized by PC and stuck into recovery mode what to do?
Hy there staff and other friends.Yesterday morning I was playing on my iPhone and then instantly powers up and then power up into recovery mode(itunes icon and the data cable appear on the screen). The problem is that the phone is no longer recognized by itunes so I can recover it and make it work. When I try to connect the phono I get a popup window and the error that the device cannot be used and an error that I got malfuncion device so I cannot use it.
Please tell me what I have to do I tried a lot of things I made researches and no result. In my device manager/universal serial bus controllers phone is found as unknown device and when I try to install it`s driver it says that there is no driver required.
Please tell me what I have to do I am desperate.
Thanks staff for helping me.
Try resetting your iPhone by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the apple logo, ignoring the slider. Takes about 5-10 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.
It works with both Vista 32-bit and 64-bit. I've used my iPhone on both versions of Vista, as well as 32-bit XP and I've never had any problems.
I've heard of a lot of people that never dropped their iPhone in water and somehow the water indicator's were tripped. all it takes is a small tiny little drop on the indicator and it gets tripped, kind of sad if it accidentally gets tripped and it's never been submerged in water or anything. I'm always worried about raindrops getting on my iPhone when I'm outside.
Yes you are right, but i really take care about this phone it was a ghift from a person that I really care and like and for 2 years (for how long I have it) I have no crashed no scratches no nothing it`s like in the 1st day I have it.Iphone it`s awesome and If I will buy another one I will insert silicon all over the places so water will not get into it 🙂 but I don`t think that my problem is because a little piece of paper witch is sensible at water cause my problem.I think it`s something else.Thank you guys. You are the best.
I've read through this thread and it's not real clear what troubleshooting steps you've taken. Perhaps it's a language barrier. Have you followed the steps outlined in the manual? If not, please do so and report back. The English manual can be found here... http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html Start with page 131.
The only reason I stated the water was because Apple refused to fix or replace your iPhone because the water sensor was tripped. I doubt that the water was the problem with the phone, but it was the problem with Apple fixing it.
I never said water was the reason your phone broke. I only stated the water because that is the reason why apple won't fix it, because they saw the water sensors were triggered.
