I want to put a autoplay on n memory stick with VOB files. Is it posible?

Hi, My client asked if we could put their corporate DVD which we just finished on a couple of hundred USB memory sticks. Is their a way to make it autoplay?

Sorry maybe this thread is in the wrong category or website but i don't know where else to ask this question. So if anyone can help i would really appreciate it.

Do you want to put a Quicktime movie on the flash drives or the DVD _TS files? I don't know of a way to make either one autoplay, but if there is I would imagine it would have more to do with the computer you are playing it on rather than something you could do on your end.

I can put any type of file on there. That depends on the advice I'm going to get form you guys. Just one problem with quick time files, here is South Africa not many ppl use AppleMac and quick time. Its just not that popular here but that is changing really fast.

I presume your client will be using these on a PC as there's no way to make it autorun on a Mac.

Why don't you use DVDs? That would be cheaper and easier.

ok thats good to know (that mac cant autoplay)ill go check out that link after this post.

We are using DVD's as well but they want memory sticks with their logo engraved on. Its like a corporate gift to their clients. It comes in a little gift bag and everything.

That's cool. What I would do is put a quicktime movie named PLAY in the main directory of the drive. Then maybe put a folder with some other formats of the video in case their computer can't play it. Seems to me if they are not interested enough to double click the video then they would have probably closed the autoplay anyway.

Thanks for your input Rescewing. The whole auto play thing was just a idea i had. The client didnt ask for it. So if i dont come right i wont mention it to them and ill probably do what you said.
