I need to convert a .mov file to a .swf file. How do I do that?

I have some interviews that will be going up on a website. I need to convert my .mov's to .swf

I've searched and searched and can't seem to find anything out there for mac that will do this for me.

Any ideas?

TIA

I'll just throw this out there. And, BTW, it's not my solution; it's something I've seen referenced before and will hand it out here because it hasn't been mentioned yet. But I can't take any real credit for this "workaround."

Upload the video to something like Vimeo, (for example) then download the resulting the .flv that they publish. Put this on your website. The drawbacks are probably obvious. But this one way to get it done.

I like vertical moon for one very specific purpose if you don't own Flash MX - which is it can use an adaptive pre-load. I used it here (www.tonangi.com). It's not great quality but it is "acceptable" - it's an 11 MB file that takes only 6-8 seconds to start. If you are doing something in flash on the web loading time is an important element - having said that however, if you want really good quality for your flash movies then vertical moon's software is not for you. I used it because I have a flash movie on the home page and no one is going to wait more then 8 seconds to see a movie on a homepage.

If you don't care about compatibility or file size then you can simply rename your .mov to the flash format and the newest flash plugin will automatically play it in the flash plugin.
