Nokia 6300 doesn't sync

I downloaded the Nokia 6300 iSync plugin found on nokia6300.net but when trying to sync with the USB cable I get the following message.

“Device is not available or synchronization was cancelled. Close dialogs and applications on the phone and try again. Device synchronization failed.”

What can be wrong?
Also tried it with my other mac using Bluetooth, same message.

iMac G5 iSight, Mac OS X (10.5.5), 2,5 GB Ram

As the Nokia 6300 isn't a natively supported phone, you should try contacting the author of the Plugin for assistance. Most likely the plugin has bugs and needs an update.

The web-site you got it from say's that other people have reported problems too, so you're not alone.
