I would like to be able to play WMV files on Quicktime, I understand that there is a plug in for Quicktime that will allow this but I cannot find it. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks.
I followed the installation instructions to a "T" but no luck. QuickTime will still not play WMV files and Flip for Mac (not offered for free on their website - only paid versions are there) will not open on its own.
Actually I have never used this because I just use VLC. It looks like the player version is just one of the trial versions without purchasing the license to enable the advanced features.
after it is installed you will see a preference pane in your System Settings for Flip4Mac WMV under the "Other" settings.... make sure all of the pertinent boxes are checked in the preference pane to ensure that it is going to play WMV files in QT.
