iMovie '09: error - 2125 at preparing a project

I got same error while trying to publish to iDVD. Did a similar length movie a few weeks ago that came from the same camera with no problem but now I can't get the move to go to iDVD. I haven't tried other formats as this is the one I need. I'm surprised the comment I am responding to has received no responses.

Your solution of not having a chapter marker within the first seconds of the video, as well as breaking it into one second blocks solved my problem of not being able to add any video to my project past one hour. Thank you!

Thank you. Sharing to Media Browser and then importing into iDVD solved my problem (error when sharing directly to iDVD).

I'm going to have to try that, too. How long did it take, and what's the quality like as a media browser? I had hoped to output to DVD, as my client doesn't have a media browser, so if the quality's similar...

My specific problem came with trying to export a 4½-hour-long string of "iPhone" videos. I tried as a movie and then as a Quicktime file, but got nothing except that error code -- which was very frustrating, coming as it did after nearly ELEVEN HOURS of processing!

Since I'm here, does anyone know if there could be a problem based on the fact that many of clips had to be rotated due to vertical usage? Can Final Cuts handle mixed horizontal and vertical footage?

Also... has anyone found a way to output a movie of that length to one DVD via iDVD..?

And also, again: would the fact that my destination folder resides on a Firewire drive be causing any problems?

Oh, forgot to mention -- I'm using version 8.0.3 of the program -- I had to reinstall it after an update to 8.0.5 refused to open the footage up!

Well, quick update; I tried sharing to the Media Browser and found that it did not work -- I got another -2125 error... And another ten hours wasted...
