Unobody 17" Macbook Pro 9600M broken gfx card?

Has anyone else been getting some pretty bad issues with the graphics card in the new unibody 17" machines? I have been getting some pretty bad green lines down everything when I use the more powerful GFX card.

This machine is brand new.. the lines do seem to get worse as the card heats up...take a look..

for us guys having trouble with vertical lines using the 2005er version of 17inch G4s, they are not even flinching.

@ bridgeta: This is old news, the firmware update was released somewhere late March.

Therefore the remaining questions still stand:
"Are there any new counts with some sort of 9600M GT issues after the update?" and
"Are there any performance changes (degrading) since the update?"

The only sign I see is that after the firmware-update there are no frequent postings anymore on this particular topic, so hopefully we can conclude: "no news, good news."

All of my issues have been address with this firmware update. I consider this topic closed.

Now if Apple would just deal with the min-DVI - to dual link DVI adapter issues I'd be a happy camper.
