If you want versatile pitch correction, there's Melodyne and there is Autotune.
Just for effectlike pitch correction there's Logic's PC plugin, which sounds and works like Autotune v. 1.0 I guess. It works, but it is all the 'Cher' effect, soundwise. AT and MLD can produce much more natural sounding results - as long as you don't shift pitches over too wide intervals - max 5th, 7th sometimes. For small pitch drifts, or semi- or whole tone misses both AT and MLD do a nice/wonderful/awesome job.
I just purchased the Evo version of Auto Tune for my Logic Studio 8. I've yet to install it because I thought I heard that you can't use the graphic tuning on anything but PT. Is this true. Has anyone used Antares Auto Tune Evo in Logic Yet? Does is work well?
