Upgrading a dual 450 G4 processor

Would it make any sense to upgrade a dual 450 processor to something faster? The bus speed is only 100Mhz. My machine still runs most apps okay except for the lates version of Pages for some reason. I recently upgraded to 10.4 as well as iwork 08. The Pages app lags significantly. It's a G4, 896 MB ram, dual 450

Any thoughts?
Thanks

Hi, with the cost of the mirror drive dual G4's at around 350 to 400, I would just step up to one of those. By the time you sink in the money for a CPU upgrade for that sawtooth model, you are better off just getting a dual 1.25 or dual 1.42 G4 MDD, or if you prefer, a FW800 MDD.

cpu upgrades at this point in time don't make any financial sense. And with the loss of several of them and only a few left, it seems that the days of G4 upgrades is slowly, but surely dying out.

Advice: scrap the 450 and just get a dual 1.25 or 1.42 MDD.
The bus speed is also much faster than the 100mhz bus.
