Yahoo Mail not working with Safari

Hello,

I am running Safari Version 3.0.4 and I am having problems with Yahoo Mail.

I can login into Mail and check my mail but I can't do anything else - it won't allow me to compose etc, it's like it is partially frozen.

I have contacted Yahoo but their suggestions (allow Javascript etc) didn't do anything and I know Yahoo Mail has had issues working on Safari previously.

Can anyone recommend anything? I really need Yahoo Mail back!

Cheers.

The problem I'm having is that I can get to yahoo.com, open Mail, but only one of my four Yahoo email accounts (I have domains for my business) opens when you click on it.<</div>

My problem exactly. My free account opens but my two paid accounts do not. I use the classic version of Yahoo email. It works in IE, Firefox (Mac or Win) but not Safari 4.

The problem is definitely working with Safari. It is the same, Mac or Windows.

Hi,

I have the same problem of accessing my bizmail account inbox on Safari 4.0.3. But it is working fine with FireFox.
I have made a comparison between cookies of both browsers after trying to login (Safari sending me back to the login page again and again), I have set Safari to accept all cookies, and here is the result:

-Safari 4.0.3, 5 cookies,
website, name:
--.mydomain.com, BX
--.yahoo.com, B
--.yahoo.com, F
--.yahoo.com, PH
--.yahoo.com, SSL

-FireFox 3.5.2, 10 cookies,
website, name:
--.mydomain.com, BX
--.yahoo.com, B
--.yahoo.com, F
--.yahoo.com, PH
--.yahoo.com, SSL
--.yahoo.com, YM.BM
--.yahoo.com, T
--.yahoo.com, Y
--mail.yahoo.com, YM.CGP_screenname
--mail.yahoo.com, YM.stck

It seems to me that Safari preventing some cookies due to unknown reasons.

Per Yahoo! Tech Support: Use Firefox; Safari hasn't worked properly since 3.2.

Here is the official response, misspellings and all:

"Thank you for contacting Yahoo! Small Business Support.

"I understand you are not able to switch between your Yahoo and business
email account.

"First I would like to confirm that you are using Safari to access your
emails. The reason why you are having this problem is because of the
recent updates that Apple has done on Safari. If you have noticed
recently Safari got updated and the version updates from version 3.1 to
3.2. Which has caused this issue.

"We have a lot of our Customers who use there accounts through Safari and
every one is having the same problem as you do. This is nothing to do
with your account or with the Yahoo! Server as this is something related
to Safari which needs to be looked into by Apple. Apple is already aware
of this issue. As a work around until they resolve it, you can download
Firefox on your computer and use your account through it. As with
Firefox you will not have this problem and you will be able to switch
between your accounts with no problem.

"If you do not have Firefox installed on your computer, please visit the
link below to download Firefox and install it.

"I hope I was able to answer your question.

"Please do not hesitate to reply if you need further assistance.

"Regards,
