Why can't iTunes enqueue?

... why no enqueue in iTunes so I can line up a list of songs to play?

(and Party Shuffle is not the same as enqueue.)

Apart from what you have done, no.
A good DJ will NEVER let there be silence, which is exactly what iTunesJ will do.
It'll play songs you add but select others to play if you do nothing.

Perhaps a small but nice feature would be to create an empty Playlist
