I googled "iTunes" and "Gear" (having read and run into trouble in the past and refusing to try iTunes again until 8.2 which installs fine under Windows 7 RC with no need to use Trobleshoot Compatibility even) but now my DVDs and CD/DVD are "absent" AWOL and MIA.

Eventually after weeks of searching through the boards reading through other peoples problems and responses I finally found a solution. I think...so i finally have all of my music on Itunes.

Just like to say I was very unhappy with this whole process and my itunes will now only be used to add music to my itunes. I have no desire to ever give itunes anymore of my money whatsoever.

They have no customer service. I think its sad that I had to resort to scouring the boards to get help from other customers rather then get help from actual itunes people.

Each time I emailed their staff they told me I had emailed the wrong person but never directed me to the right one they just told me to set up a phone appointment (which costs money).

But thanks to all of those nice people who are on these boards just as customers and are willing to help other customers in need because a company won't. You guys are awesome!

So many posts....it's OUTTA control!!!! I thought I'd check in after 8 months of not being able to burn. I've been buying my downloads elsewhere. Why does anybody waste time sending their pc diagnostics to Apple? Doesn't APPLE have a couple of PCs laying around that they can diagnose this with???? I mean HONESTLY!!!!! It's the same problem for everyone!!! Whether it's the bloody upper drivers or the framistamaniter filters, it's going to be the same for all the PCs!!!! Maybe when the ITUNE Store sales drop off completely, somebody at apple besides Rob will take notice and say "Hey! we gotta fix this!" In the meantime, will somebody email me when it's fixed? I'm outta here for the next 8 months. Bye Bye Apple!

Bloody ****! looks like everyone and their dogs are having the same problem! so can anyone tell me how on this fair earth we can burn CD's in less than 3 hours?

I'm desperately trying to transfer all my music from windows media player over to iTunes but it keeps splitting up my albums into 4 or 5 parts and some of them just don't seem to want to transfer at all! However if I try to manually burn my CD's instead it takes up to 3 hours!!

My iPod was bought as a treat and I'm seriously considering sending it back the whole thing is totally **** and frankly not worth all the hassle!

Is there any way I can actually speak to a human at apple? my Dyslexia means that trawling through pages and pages of disgruntled customers complaints on a forum is really difficult, and I really don't think this is the best, most efficient way to sort problems with a system that SHOULD work!

Help...

Can't burn cd's with itunes 8.1 for Windows
