SmartArt in Pages

SmartArt in Pages

Hi,
Recently i installed Iwork '09, including Pages.
I used for a long time Word, so it is very new to me.
Now i need to make a work for school, and i want to use SmartArt, that is included in Word.
My question is: does Pages 09 have an equvalent to it, and so yes, where?

Pages does not have smart art built in and there is no exact equivalent in a third party program. OmniGraffle is a great program that can approximate most of Word's smart art, though not quite so easily. It comes with stencils that can be extended so if there's not a built in stencil that does what you want you can make your own for later re-use.

ArtText is the equivalent of WordArt not SmartArt.

SmartArt is designed for diagramming, particularly flow charting. The objects auto branch, align, style and grow as needed, something Apple should seriously look at for future revisions of iWork.

Have done so already. 🙂

It will make iWork that much more compelling and I am sure Apple's programmers can probably do it with more taste and flair than Microsoft's.
