How to upgrade from IWeb 06?

I just got a brand new iMac - yay! - with Leopard and iWeb 09. Previously, I was using my MacBook (OS 10.4 / iWeb 06) to update our website. I love iWeb and was thrilled to update to the new version...

But how?

I copied/replaced my Images, index.html and Site folders on the new iMac and nothing happens. I open up iWeb and it just prompts to the blank new screen. It's like iWeb isn't reading the files or something. I read somewhere to find a folder called Application Support - but I have no such folder on my MacBook. Perhaps that's an addition from iWeb08, which I skipped?

Any help would be greatly appreciated on how to transfer my site into iWeb 09.

I like the way that iWeb works. I just don't think it's being developed in the right direction or by the right people. It lacks all the features that its major competition has and the form in which it is being released is downright irresponsible.

Unless you want the "instant" widgets or to take iSight photos of yourself and have them appear on your web page without you actually doing anything, I would think that you are better off with '08.

'09 doesn't include any of the sensible user requested features apart from the dysfunctional FTP and the bugs that I mentioned are really irritating.
