The script you have is incomplete.
Try this...
tell application "Finder"
set {d1, d2, d3, d4} to (bounds of window of desktop)
end tell
tell application "iTunes"
set margins to {d1 + 10, d2 + 30, d3 - 10, d4 - 148}
set bounds of window 1 to margins
end tell
Cut and paste it into the AppleScript editor and and press Run.
Thanks!! fixed my problem.
Tried all in the discussion, problem is:
got no red/Yellow/green dots in the top-bar to press.
What do i do?
got no red/Yellow/green dots in the top-bar to press.
Then you opened a playlist or library in a new window.
Go to iTunes menu Window and there should only be one window named iTunes.
Hi Chris.
I am in the iTunes menu-window, no dots!
Best regards
Would you take a screen shot (Command Shift 3) and post it here?
You are in full screen mode so you already see all of the screen.
Move the cursor to the top of the screen until you see the menu.
To get out of full screen, on teh far rigth of the menu bar, click the blue square with the inward pointing arrows.
Perfect Trevor, I am no script guy, but copy and paste into apple script did the thing. Great and thanks form a non programming "consumer"
Yve
Thanx Chris, that made me get rid of a really anoying problem

tell application "iTunes"
set bounds of window 1 to {296, 97, 800, 600}
end tell
