Apogee AD 16X and Logic Pro 8 Inputs not available

Hi guys,
I have Logic Pro 8 and I'm able to access audio inputs 1-8 but 9-16 can't be selected in Logic because they are grayed out. I checked Audio/Midi setup and only inputs 1-8 are shown in there. What am I missing?

I have Apogee DA/AD 16x, the DA 16x shows 00.00 on starting, unable to reset it with power & setup buttons, it seems to have worked for a brief while during setup and Maestro was able to recognize it, but not any more. My AD 16x is working just fine, it's seen on the Maestro. The AD/DA are hooked to a PCIe 64 & all drivers were updated prior to installation.

Any amount of permutation combination of buttons is not making any difference, any suggestions, is this a hardware issue?

If you've tried resetting, and flipping internal/WC you should call Apogee at 310-584-9394.
I could imagine that a bad firmware upgrade or the reflash via MIDI process could cause this problem (did you attempt this recently?) but not to two units at the same time. Have you tried disconnecting everything to see that they work standalone with internal clock selected?

Anyway, rather than me guessing, give Apogee a call - they'll figure it out, I'm sure.

Please post back with the answer in case someone else has the same problem.
