iWeb Publishing Whole Website...

Oh my word, every time I make a correction to my website it wants to upload the whole thing and NOT just the changes. What gives? I am running this under Mobile Me and it just started doing this BEFORE the update. Now that I have updated it... the thing continues to do this... Any thoughts as to why it has to publish the whole thing time and again rather then just the changes?

Thanks in advance... Jay

Bad news Im afraid, i was told to call applecare (who incidentally say they cannot support software) to get an answer as it is a SOFTWARE problem and not mobileMe.

Sorry I dont agree, Im not a genius but I have been using iWeb 09 for weeks now with multiple sites and successful publishing and now it does not want to work.

Im going to try and install iweb 08 and see if the problem is the same, if it is then by elimination it must be mobile me.

Ive just finished after hours and this is the answer.

Because this issue requires investigation beyond what is available here in chat, I'm going to go ahead and escalate the issue to a MobileMe Support Specialist. The specialist will look into the issue further, and follow up with you via email. Can you please give me an alternate email address for them to contact you?

Its not sorted but they cant ignore it now, thanks to Brian who did all he could even giving me a rebate.

hope it gets sorted soon guys, ill let you know what my vain attempts do, ill try it on my iMac - macbook and macpro too to see if its the OS.

I have the same problem, and I didn't install the update. Just a few days ago this worked just fine. Logic would dictate that they did something to change our domain on their MobileMe servers, making them not match the ones on our machines anymore, thus requiring us to re-load our entire sites. This is VERY inconvenient for those of us with podcasts, for it tells our subscribers to re-load all the podcasts they already have. It makes for very upset subscribers.
