Song ideas??

I have a retirement slideshow I am working on for a police chief. He has been with the town for over 30 years. I could use some help with songs/music ideas. So far I have "Thank you for being a friend, You got a friend,Time of your life /Green Day,Closing not sure if that is too slow. I want this to be outstanding. I love the idea of using "When I am 64 but not sure it is for a retirement unless I use is as an instrumental. At the end of the slideshow I hope to get groups of town folks to say thanks and good luck.

Not everyone who retires actually wants to, regardless what they say. Not everyone chronologically 64 feels that much time has progressed and may not want to be "reminded". If you have confidence in your poll of seven, go for it.

Mike, Thanks...This will not be a problem with this man.. He is really just moving from one thing to the next. His life is so very full that I really don't think it will make him feel bad. I am meeting with his wife soon. I will get her thoughts.
Thank you so much though. I really do prefer when the clients comes with music in mind. Makes my job easier.
