Keyboard Shortcut for Superscript does not work!!! Help
As of right now i can get the keyboard shortcut to work for the subscript but not the superscript. Writing up science labs in college takes forever when i have to go to the menu bar everytime i need to do this. Has anyone gotten this to work. the command i use is control command and - for subscript or control command and + for superscript but does not work
"You are aware that the + is actually a Shifted character? Whereas the - is not."
I thought that rather strange, as neither command and - ("smaller") nor command and + ("bigger"), listed in the same menu, require use of the shift key. Also, there's no indication of the 'shift' requirement in the menu listing of the superscript keyboard shortcut.
It is a part of the Apple
New (odd) way of thinking.
I don't know what the actual short cuts are for text size down and up as I have regularised them. I know in Text Edit the plus has the shift key on it to
literally find the plus.
I do miss the QuarkXpress shortcuts which were all logically arrayed along the right side of the keyboard in pairs, left most less and right most more. They all were logically modify to varying increments with the option key.
I
ALSO miss the grabber hand and the zoom tool! What are the Pages programmers thinking when they have neither, and zooming goes back up to the top left corner, not to where you are focused.
