Pages '09: How do I stop invoice template rounding up decimal fractions
Have created my own invoice template from one in the template chooser. When I key in a quantity of 1.5 against a unit price of 1000 for example when I enter the data it rounds up the 1.5 to show a quantity value of 2. It shows a correct cost of 1,500 but if I send invoices out with incorrect cell data its going to cause me needless problems. How do I stop this happening?
Glad you were able to fix the format to your liking. Those templates can be confusing since you have no idea what formats may have been set, not having done the design yourself. The template designers do some clever things that don't always make life easier for the user.
In the Table Inspector, Format Tab, with your table's Quantity column selected, change the Decimals count to something greater than zero. That should get you the display you want.
