iPod-no sign of life=>What should I do???

I also posted on "using iPod..." But since I am not sure to which category my post belongs, I will also post it here.
So as I stated in my other post, my iPod doesn't respond whatsoever. It doesn't show any sign of life.
PLUS my MacBook doesn't recognise it anymore also, though everything was working completly fine this morning. I added Music to my iPod plus I listend to Music. But later it wouldn't turn on anymore. Resetting didn't help/didn't work. As I said no sign of life.
Has anybody had similar problems or know a solution???

I'm having the same problem - it was working fine and now it shows no sign of life. I've tried 3 different computers, two different cords and multiple USB ports.... No computer will sense it, I can't reset it, I can't put it to disk mode.... It's just dead!

i have the same problem as you but my ipod nano is the first generation,it doesnt turn on,even my computer and my itunes doesnt read the ipod i dont know what to do, it was ok in the morning but when i tried to turn it on puff it doesnt show any sign of life 😟 please if you have a solution or something contact me n__n

I have the same issue, Working fine in the morning, Could play music, switched it off for work, tried to turn it back on for the drive home - No life at all.

My computer wont see it, I cant switch it on, reset it, I've tried multiple computers, however dont have a second cable to try (incase its a battery issue).

any help?

Mine just stopped working as well!!! It was working one second then I looked over and it was just a black screen. So I pressed the buttons a bunch of times and it still wouldn't come on. I tried plugging into the computer, plugged into the wall with my charger and nothing! Can anyone help?

Hey try this I went to this link here on the apple support and it worked when they showed me how to fix my iPod!
