buying a Sony DCRHC42e

I'm thinking about buying a SONY DCRHC42e.

Is anyone having any compatibility problems with this camera? I heard one person say that they did.

If you want any more info, or to discuss anything, you can email me, or we can talk on the phone (..that's that thing you hold up to your ear..)

My email address is my name ..with no spaces, all in lower case.. and - my Homepage being on Apple's dotMac service - the rest is at mac dot com.

That's "..carbon arc.." lamps, though as they did pretty much come out of the ark, perhaps your way of writing it is more accurate!

(..Until taken over a few years ago by a new outfit, the three-screen cinema at Truro, in Cornwall, still used carbon arcs ..and I think there are a few others dotted around - mainly in Scotland? - still using carbons. But - as your post suggests - if you've only recently abandoned carbons, maybe you're still on mono sound. If so, I'd seriously suggest upgrading your sound ..you could easily do it for a few hundred - not thousand - pounds.)
