clock reset

Same happened to me several times in last few weeks, I just rectified the time by updating and ignored the rest.

Since yday, having problems with the screen going black when I try to boot up the system. May be that was a warning sign... 😟

I am facing the same issue.

Any successful solutions?

As Jonah suggested, a power cord change can fix the problem. Can't explain why. Mine was slightly frayed at the time.

I actually opened date and time preferences under date and time- checked the box ( I may have unchecked it at some time(???) and it instantly went to current date ( wasn't before) and current year! Like magic...

I'll assume I did something along the way -wrong. I hope it stays...
