Drum Machine like Fruityloops

I have both a mac and a pc. I use fruity loops on my pc. I use "patterns" that sound audio clips I upload. It's very for me to make a beat by uploading an audio clip like a drum kick. From there, I just click on a box which represents a beat, and then click play. The audio clips will play at the tempo I give them. I was wondering if there is something like that for garageband, possibly a 3rd party program? Because making drum beats is hard with just recording.
